A Clinical about the Effect of the Ceftizzxime(Epocelin) on the Postoperative Result in Cleft-lip and Cleft-palate Patients

Abstract
|
|
|
The clinical effect of the Ceftizoxime on the postoperative result in cleft lip and cleft palate patients was evaluated. A single dose of Ceftizoxime was given to 26 patients at the time of induction of anesthesia and the following results were obtained. l.The overall postoperative wound complication rate was 4%. 2.The side effect and toxicity were not detected clinically.
The results of this study suggest that Ceftizoxime is effective and safe drug for reducing postoperative wound problems in cleft lip and cleft palate patients.
